* Dr. McDermott is an experienced Interventional and general cardiologist with over 25 yrs clinical practice in Interventional cardiology, endovascular medicine and critical limb ischemia, general cardiology, echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, pacemaker implantation, implantable defibrillators (ICD) including biventricular devices, and leadless pacemakers. Dr. McDermott has particular interests in the management of complex and high risk patients with a wide spectrum of cardiovascular disease. * He is committed to ongoing education in these areas of interest. * Dr. McDermott has board certifications in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular disease, subspecialty Interventional Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiac pacing, and physician interpretation vascular ultrasound. * Dr. McDermott is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Intervention. He is currently licensed in Missouri, Alabama, Arkansas, Tennessee, Florida, Kentucky, South Carolina, Virginia, and North Dakota. * Dr. McDermott has approximately five yrs experience in disability file review for insurance carriers. This includes providing extensive reviews and opinions on complex cardiovascular cases for a wide variety of clients including Disability Insurance carriers, Workmen's Comp. and various State and Federal governmental agencies or their representatives. * Dr. McDermott is committed to providing timely, evidenced-based, and unbiased opinions.
