Dr. Boxer is a board certified urologist with 38 years experience in private and academic practice. He is a Professor of Clinical Urology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and the University of Wisconsin (Madison), and was a Clinical Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin (Milwaukee) and the University of Miami (Florida). He is an attending urologist at the Los Angeles (UCLA) Veterans Administration Hospital. He has been awarded a Presidential Citation for excellence in Urology, Best Doctors nationally and 5 times locally (Milwaukee). He was a finalist for Surgeon General of the United States in 1997 and 2001. He was a citizen representative for the US at the World Health Organization. He has been a guest lecturer 65 times, wrote 14 chapters in books and 73 medical journal articles. He was a Presidential appointee to the National Cancer Institute and the National Institute of Diabetes, Digestive and Kidney Diseases. Br Boxer speaks around the world on urology as well as health care technology. He is on the Editorial Board of mHealth, the Associate/Guest Editor of The ASCO Post, was the Section Editor of Oncology Spectrums, and on the Board of Reviewers of Urology, Archives of Internal Medicine, Journal of Urology, Oncology, Telemedicine and e-Health, Journal of General Internal Medicine, and Urology Practice Dr. Boxer currently is practicing medicine. Dr Boxer is also a nationally recognized expert in telemedicine. He was the Chief Medical Officer of the nation's largest telemedicine company. He also is a national expert in health policy, having written policy and consulted with the White House, Department of Health and Human Services, Congressional and State Leaders. He has written extensively in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and major medical journals. He provides professional, timely reports.
