    Dr. Boczar is a board certified (ABEM) Emergency Physician with over 28 years of post-graduate clinical experience working in a Level I Trauma Center. Currently he is Credentialing Chair and has served as Quality Chair of Hurley Hospital in Flint, Michigan. His role as Physician Advisor for Utilization Review requires the review of 1000+ cases/year. He is also involved in his hospital's Medical Legal Review Committee. In addition, Dr. Boczar has served as an Oral Board Examiner (ABEM) for several years. Dr. Boczar has previous expert witness/medical legal case review experience and has completed MCOLES training. He has served as an expert witness in numerous strangulation/erotic asphyxiation cases. Publications include book chapters as well as numerous journal articles. Additionally, Dr. Boczar has served as a Medical Director for a community hospital Emergency Department.
