    My areas of expertise include: Critical Care Medicine (Cardio-pulmonary hemodynamics, respiratory physiology, mechanical ventilation, sepsis and septic shock); Pulmonary Medicine (Asthma, COPD, Smoking related diseases, Interstitial Lung Disease, Pulmonary Hypertension, Lung transplantation); Biomedical Ethics (End of life, conflict resolution, triage). I have received a number of teaching and research awards for my academic work at the Cleveland Clinic. I have extensive academic experience with over 75 publications including first authorship on over a dozen full length manuscripts.
