As a detailed-oriented, reliable and goal-focused healthcare practitioner, I am equipped with wide-ranging background in the delivery of first-rate Occupational Therapy services. By leveraging the knowledge and skills acquired throughout my 26+ year healthcare career, I have been able to provide medical legal consultation and professional advice in support of court proceedings. It also helped in honing my expertise in catastrophic case management, as well as my ability to deal with critical situations and make sound judgement and decisions. In addition, I am effective at collaborating with both healthcare and non-healthcare professional to ensure patient safety and quality assurance, while addressing their specific needs. I demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills in instituting best practices to ensure high-quality patient care as well as professional advice to others outside of the healthcare field. As a licensed/registered Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) I hold additional education/certifications in: Foundations in Home Modifications (advanced education via American Occupational Therapy Association), Life Care Planner-Certified (CLCP/LCP-C), Certified Fall Prevention Specialist (CFPS), Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLP/LANA) as well as actively pursuing ongoing certification in geriatric care (Certified Geriatric Care Professional/CGCP).
