    I have extensive experience in clinical and forensic psychiatry, performing hundreds of forensic evaluations, including IME, disability determination, return to work and workers' comp evaluations. I have been an expert witness in dozens of civil cases involving victims of sexual abuse, employment issues, malpractice defense, etc. I have been deposed many times and testified in court on several occasions. I pride myself on providing thorough accurate reports responsive to referral questions.
    Description

    I have been in private practice for over 30 years treating a wide variety of patients. In addition, I was a Residency Training Director for seven years, Medical Director of a psychiatric hospital for seven years, worked in two correctional facilities for three years and in a Department of Veterans Affairs’ outpatient clinic for over thirteen years. I have also taught Drexel University medical students for over ten years. As a result of my clinical experience, I have a particular expertise in the area of psychiatric disability issues, employment issues, victims of sexual abuse, and Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, as well as assessing psychiatric damages in medical and surgical malpractice defense cases. In addition to being deposed multiple times, I have also testified in court on a number of occasions, including at Federal Bankruptcy Court in Wilmington, Delaware, regarding the psychiatric impact of victims of sexually abusive priests in the Diocese of Wilmington. I pride myself on thoroughness, accuracy and opinions that can be supported by clinical examination and scientific evidence, as well as a careful medical and legal record review. In addition, I believe it is vital to have good communication with the referral source, so as to best address the questions that are being asked. I have performed forensic work for both plaintiff and defense counsel.
