Five active Certifications and five decades of exceptional experience in all settings. He has achieved and maintained Quadruple Certifications in Psychiatry (1983), Addiction Psychiatry (1993, 2003, 2013,), Geriatric Psychiatry (1994, 2004, 2014,) and Forensic Psychiatry (1999, 2009). He sat for his Addiction Medicine examination more than 50 years after he began medical school. He is a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and Massachusetts Psychiatric Society, Instructor in the Harvard Law School Trial Advocacy Workshop. Former Harvard Medical School Instructor and Cornell University Alumnus.
