I have 10+ years of experience in Infection Prevention and Control and Epidemiology as well as 8 years of experience as a bedside RN in the ICU and PACU. I am certified in Infection Prevention and Control (CIC) credentialed by the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology. I have extensive experience in the evaluation of patients who develop hospital associated infections including surgical site infections, blood stream infections, urinary tract infections, pneumonia, MRSA, VRE, and Clostridium difficile. My job requires extensive operational, personnel, safety, nursing, and patient care expertise in multiple complex departments within the healthcare setting. I am detail oriented. I have the ability to breakdown complex medical conditions/terminology and make them understandable.
