Description
I am a board certified clinician (35 years) with fellowships and experience of working in different countries with multicultural population. For last 17 years I am teaching and training undergraduate and medical students and residents (physicians in training) in hospital and clinic settings. I am a researcher with masters in clinical investigation and grant generating program fellowship. I teach research methods to students and residents. I am author of several grants and award winning publications in peer reviewed journals, national and international conferences. I have served on several regional, national and international committees and carried out quality assurance projects. I am medical director for CVS clinics and supervise nurse practitioners and physician assistants for last several years. I have developed a weight loss program specifically for low income and underserved population. There are only two programs in US with same setting (Physician, Dietitian, Psychologist). I have served as expert witness for "Alvarado, et al v The United States of America".
