Dr. Pamela M. Kaminski grew up in Red Bank, New Jersey and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is an Arizona, New Mexico, South Carolina and New Jersey licensed Pediatric Dentist. She received her undergraduate degree in Dental Hygiene from the Medical College of Georgia and received the Julia Galbaugh Award for interest and potential in the Field of Public Health and Community Dentistry. Dr. Kaminski studied at the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine and graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine and received an Award for outstanding interest, accomplishments, and promise in the Field of Oral Pathology. Thereafter, Dr. Kaminski completed a 2 year Residency specializing in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Kaminski has developed and demonstrated a profound interest and passion for treating patients with special health care needs throughout her training and years of practice and is a Fellow of the Special Care Dentistry Association. In an effort to raise awareness and increase access to care for this vulnerable population of patients, Dr. Kaminski became the Benefactor of the "Dr. Pamela M. Kaminski Center for Special Care Dentistry" at her Alma Mater, the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Kaminski received the Alumni Award of Honor from her Alma Mater, the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine in 2019. The Alumni Award of Honor is the highest honor bestowed by the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine and is in recognition of outstanding service and contributions to the Alumni Association, the College, their Community and the Profession of Dentistry. Dr. Kaminski has served as an Examiner for the Oral Clinical Examination at the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. As an Examiner, Dr. Kaminski helps determine if Pediatric Dentists demonstrate proficiency in diagnosis, treatment planning and clinical care in the area of Pediatric Dentistry.
