Luis L Perez, DO, a family medicine physician at Grand Lake Family Practice and Pediatrics in Celina, Ohio, was clinical associate professor of family medicine at the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, and former program director for the Transitional Year residency program at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, Ohio. He earned a medical degree from Ohio University, and completed a family medicine residency at Firelands Regional Medical Center. He’s board certified in family medicine and osteopathic manipulative treatment. Dr. Perez has served on committees at both the national and state levels, and has received several awards, including Resident of the Year by the Ohio chapter of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and the Arnold P. Gold Foundation’s Humanism and Excellence in Teaching. He has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians.
