Dr Waters has four Board Certifications: Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology, Pediatric Pathology & Nuclear Medicine. Dr Waters is experienced in Forensics, Medical Legal Consultation as well as Expert Witness Work. Birth Injury is of particular interest. Other areas of Pediatric and General Pathology have included Tumors (Pediatric and Adult) and Lethal diseases such as Pulmonary Embolism and Sub-Dural Hematoma. Product Liability has included various drugs, laboratory testing and chemical substances. Criminal and Child Custody cases have included Motor Vehicle Accidents, Murder, Poisoning and Munchhausen's by Proxy. Pathologists have an understanding of disease processes and can be helpful in a wide variety of situations. Dr Waters' consultation includes examination of placental, autopsy, and surgical slides, medical records, depositions and legal documents. Initially a case is examined for Merit and Causation. After review of the materials, a report will be written on request and advice will be given on deposition and trial questions. Depositions, arbitration and trials have been done around the country. A judge complimented testimony by Dr Waters in a New York trial. Dr Waters has been a Pathologist for thirty years and has been working in the Medical Legal arena for over ten years.
