    I am a board certified pediatrician with over 25 years of experience in both in-patient and out-patient pediatrics. I have additional training and expertise in sports medicine and concussion. I have been an instructor in Pediatric Advanced Life Support for almost 20 years as well as an instructor for the Neonatal Resuscitation Program for nearly 10 years. I have expertise in evaluation of newborn hearing and I serve as the Maine American Academy of Pediatrics (MAAP) Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) Chapter Champion. I have been involved in advocacy and have provided testimony to the Maine legislature in areas concerning CMV associated hearing loss in children. I have received the "Special Achievement Award for Distinguished Service and Dedication to the Mission and Goals of the Academy" from the American Academy of Pediatrics for my work and advocacy in child safety. Lastly, I am an experienced medical educator with multiple teaching awards. I am available for medical case review, written reports, deposition and testimony.
