Description
Dr. Diana Ayubcha is an Assistant Professor at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania specializing in neuroanesthesia. At a highly specialized institution like Penn, she handles both standard and super-specialized neurosurgical cases including: minimally invasive craniotomies, awake craniotomies, stroke, surgery of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine, endovascular aneurysm repair and embolectomies. She manages complex airway issues in syndromic patients as well as those coming for revision neurosurgeries. Dr. Ayubcha is fellowship trained in neuroanesthesia at the University of Pennsylvania. She was invited to stay on faculty and became the Associate Program Director of the neuroanesthesia program at the University of Pennsylvania. She assists with resident and fellow education curriculum in the neurosurgical intensive care unit and neurosurgical operating rooms. Dr. Ayubcha contributes to the medical legal team and lectures on medical legal issues to residents, fellows, and faculty. She is currently enrolled in the ML Program at the Carey School of Law at The University of Pennsylvania.
