Description
After graduating from college in pre-med, I elected not to continue on to medical school, but joined the US Navy to serve in the Vietnam War. During that time, I discovered my interests lay more in leadership than in science. My next step was to earn a MBA degree in hospital management, which opened up a richly rewarding career for me and my family. I believe combining the two perspectives of business and science in this field gave me a unique skill set that increased my value and satisfaction. My wife and I recently moved to Vermont, close to Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. I hope to increase my volunteer opportunities with the Dartmouth Institute, as well as find volunteer leadership service in the local hospitals. My work as an expert witness has drawn on my hospital operations background in countless ways. I work with precision and insight, trusting that the legal outcomes will be result in a safer, higher quality environment for the patients and the healthcare facilities.
