Over 17 years of experience in patient safety and safe patient handling. Taught classes on safe patient handling, fall prevention, use of technology for risk management, healthcare ergonomics, and implementation of safety cultures. Taught as an adjunct professor in area of clinical biomechanics. Presented nationally for over a decade in patient handling and healthcare technology. Published peer review articles nationally on safe patient handling/technology/bariatric technology. Performed grant writing/IRB submissions/clinical trials. Implemented safe patient handling programs in acute care hospitals across US. Product design and biomechanical evaluations to establish reduction of risk of injury.
