Dr. Andrews is an expert in the field of Biomechanics and Structural Engineering. He specializes in various aspects of biomechanics, including the analysis of injuries such as whiplash, head and neck injuries, vehicle collisions, slip and fall incidents, joint implants, lumbar spine disc degeneration, and head trauma in both adults and children, particularly in relation to accidents. His background as a licensed structural engineer allows him to assess how human responses to accidents are influenced by their interactions with buildings and other structures.
Dr. Andrews' expertise also extends to failure analysis for a wide range of structures, such as buildings, industrial equipment and supports, wooden structures, roof trusses, bridges, engineered beams, collapses of roofs and walls, stage and deck failures, railing incidents, and various other structural issues. With over 40 years of experience, he has been involved in designing, evaluating, managing, and investigating numerous structural projects.
Dr. Andrews holds professional engineering licenses in several states, including Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Hawaii, as well as structural engineering licenses in Illinois and Hawaii.
